Denah Angel |
Denah Angel is a Los Angeles based actress, comedian and writer whose work has been featured across film, television, digital and stage. Denah studies at LA’s premiere improv and sketch writing comedy school, The Groundlings, with industry veterans Karen Maruyama (Whose Line Is It Anyway), Jay Lay (How I Met Your Mother), and Guy Stevenson (MadTV).

Denah is the lead of the indy dramedy HELLO FROM NOWHERE directed by Anthony Orkin.

Denah is an advanced improv artist with THE GROUNDLINGS, and associate member of the renowned comedy troupe Turbine Arts Collective, founded by esteemed improv coach Rob Watzke and has performed alongside Academy Award winning actress Helen Hunt, Emmy award winning actor Jason Alexander, and Helen Slater (Super Girl).

In addition to comedy, Denah is a classically trained voice performer having sang the National Anthem at numerous high profile events including Seattle Mariners baseball games and The LA Sephardic Film Festival at Paramount Studios. She is also known for her voice-over work performing annually in the SAG Aftra Radio Play series held at the historic Autry Museum Theatre.
Denah has been a proud member of SAG-AFTRA for over ten years and has recently become a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, which is sponsored by the Hollywood Foreign Press, where she performs regularly. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Denah holds a degree in theater performance from the prestigious Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
